Where We Give

In communities where Weyerhaeuser employees live and work, the foundation funds community-based projects that encourage growth and improve the quality of life. Our grants support two areas of focus—K-12 education that fosters work force readiness in the areas of STEM and advancing renewable natural resources. The foundation also supports health and human services, arts and culture, and civic life within 50 miles of a Weyerhaeuser community. Employee advisory committees help the foundation achieve its mission by directing giving at the local level in support of these needs.

The foundation will also consider support for regional or national projects that tie closely to the forest products and homebuilding industries.
